Studio "Terres de Chabrouillas"

Since 1995, in the wooded hills north of Bergerac, the pottery studio Terres de Chabrouillas is where Laurent Merchant produces his fine tableware and one of a kind ceramic pieces. He sometimes makes sculptures as well as the unique ceramic singing bowls which have become his trademark these last few years.

After spending the 1980's in California where he opened his first workshop Osage Pottery, in the town of Sonoma, Laurent returned to Dordogne where he had spent part of his childhood. He established his workshop in Bosset in the early 90's and has lived and worked here ever since, surrounded by the fields and forest at the heart of his inspiration.

You'll find a showroom presenting a wide selection of his ceramic works, from the functional to the purely artistic and now into the acoustic!
